That's exactly why these programs were created.
Each You're Grounded module focuses on practical life skills or important life lessons designed to help teens and young adults become more confident, capable, and prepared for the road ahead. Whether they're learning how to make a great first impression, manage money wisely, build healthy relationships, or navigate everyday situations with confidence, each program provides practical knowledge they can begin using right away.
We recommend beginning with The Foundation: Why Self-Awareness Changes Everything, as it lays the groundwork for everything that follows. At the end of this insightful module, each person will earn their personal Blueprint—a tool they'll populate and refer to throughout the rest of the You're Grounded curriculum as they discover how their unique personality, strengths, and perspectives influence the way they learn, communicate, make decisions, and navigate life.
Once you've completed this foundational module, you can continue through the remaining programs in any order, choosing the topics that are most relevant to your life and goals.
Many parents choose to watch the programs alongside their teens and young adults—or use them as a starting point for meaningful conversations afterward. Some of the most valuable lessons don't end when the video does; they begin with the discussions, questions, and shared perspectives that continue at home.
Wherever you choose to begin, we're honored to be a small part of helping the next generation define character, build confidence, and prepare for the road ahead.

Before you can confidently navigate adulthood, set meaningful goals, build healthy relationships, manage money, choose a career path, or make wise decisions under pressure, you need one critical skill first: self-awareness.
In The Foundation: Why Self-Awareness Changes Everything, you'll learn why understanding yourself is the starting point for every major area of life. This powerful first module helps you slow down, look inward, and gain clarity about who you are, what matters most to you, what motivates your choices, and where your greatest strengths and challenges lie.
Through guided introspection exercises and practical reflection prompts, you’ll begin identifying your values, habits, decision-making patterns, emotional triggers, personal strengths, challenges, goals, and the family dynamics that have shaped your perspective.
This program helps you recognize who you are today, as well as who you want to be as you grow into your own so you can start making intentional choices about your future.
NOTE: A spiral notebook is highly recommended for taking notes during this insightful program.

Check Please: Tips, Gratuities & Receipt Smarts takes the stress and awkwardness out of dining out by teaching one of the most overlooked real-world life skills: how to confidently handle the bill. Whether you’re out with friends, on a first date, splitting checks, using coupons or gift cards, or dining with a large group, this program shows you exactly what to look for when the check arrives.
You’ll learn the difference between tips, gratuities, and service fees, when each one applies, and how to avoid accidentally overpaying or tipping twice. We also teach a simple mental math method that allows you to calculate tips quickly—without using your phone or a calculator.
By the end of this module, you’ll know how to read restaurant receipts, spot pricing errors, understand discounts and charges, and confidently navigate tipping situations like a pro.
Dining out shouldn’t feel intimidating—this program makes it easy.

Show Me Your Friends & I’ll Tell You Your Future is one of the most powerful modules in the You’re Grounded curriculum because it tackles a truth many young people learn the hard way: the people you surround yourself with will influence your choices, your character, and ultimately your future.
Through a relatable real-world story, participants will see how one seemingly harmless decision can snowball into consequences that affect school, sports, family relationships, reputation, and long-term opportunities. This module teaches the difference between acquaintances and true friends, how to identify red flags in unhealthy relationships, and why character matters more than popularity or fitting in.
Participants will also learn a practical decision-making tool we call Fail Fast, and the importance of setting personal boundaries, using discernment, and trusting their gut when something feels off.
This program helps young people choose friendships intentionally, protect their future, and build a life aligned with their goals, values, and self-respect.

If you’ve ever wondered where your money goes—or why it disappears so fast—this program was built for you.

to subscriptions, credit cards, and impulse spending, every topic is designed to help you think smarter—not just spend less.
This isn’t about being cheap. It’s about being intentional and being in control.
